I could go on about this story for ever.
This one really made me a writer.

I wrote the book in 1997 and it came out in paperback in 1998.

To this day his story evokes strong emotion in all that read it.
I've been keeping a tab of the feedback I get and I'd say the ratio of love to hate is 3 to 1. But boy those that hate how I ended it, really threaten violence against me.
What can I say. I don't like complacency and I push the limits all the time.

The first draft was written by my friend and mentor
Michael Crawley. (This was before I discovered how easy a screenplay is to write)
He kept true to the basics of the book and I didn't have to change it much.

This story is well reviewed. Check out the website to see what I mean.

It would make a stunning film.

But not a cheap one.
