How Do You Get There From Here? By Triz Remedios
Ever say to yourself that if only I had this then I would be happy, or when this comes through it will make my day, or if he/she only loved me then I would become a happy person? Often we look for happiness in the wrong places. Whenever we search outside of ourselves for satisfaction or bliss it reveals itself as short-lived, intangible or elusive. Peace and serenity, blissfulness, joy, and all those other terms that fall under the heading happiness cannot be captured or bottled, and so how do we get there from this place which is not “happy”? Some believe it is dependent on the weather or the whims of some higher source. Others believe we simply fall into it and there is no way to get there. In some respect, the last version is the most correct. We simply fall into bliss, like falling into love where we see the world as rosy and beautiful, and others see us as cute and silly. We can get there when we are around others who are in the power of eternal bliss. This is catching the wave of happiness. Our natural state is actually quite blissful and it is only when we fill our being with other thoughts, the demands of growing up, that we find ourselves outside of blissfulness. To recapture this natural state and maintain it we alter our behavior with mundane things like having to have possessions or drinking/drugs and all sorts of other things that we do to ourselves to remind us of that place of well-being. Unfortunately, all of these methods are short-lived and we find we have to continuously refuel these desires to maintain the blissfulness. In the long run these methods only show us how empty we really feel and how tangled we’ve become in the behavior itself. To be free, and blissful, and at peace within ourselves we simply fall into that state. This is no simple feat. We must first untangle our emotions; drop our emotional ties with all the traumas ever experienced in our beings and live in the present without any concerns for the past or the future. With the use of some vibrational tools this insurmountable task becomes tangible and we get a glimpse of the state we have been searching for. The Peruvian Whistling Vessels are tools that help us to drop our thoughts and emotional entanglements to experience a state in which we are free of these. They bring us to a place of quiet so that we feel at peace with ourselves and with all around us. It doesn’t take long to drop our preoccupation with our thoughts or with our emotional turmoil. In fact, the vessels help us to experience a satisfaction and acceptance of who we are. With very little to no training these vessels engage and entice us within. They wake us up to where we are at and demand that we take care of ourselves so that we can become whole. They can move us into playfulness and a childlike wonder with ourselves in our lives. This can then bring us into a blissful place in our beings. The light that goes out of our eyes as we age is relit and we then really live as we dreamed of once before. Together with the beating of the drum, which aids us in the embodying of this familiar yet higher vibration, the light-headedness and blissful state travels through our bodies to be embraced into our very beings. We begin to dream the old dreams in a new light or dream new dreams as if they were old familiar ways of being. Our dreamful state is then transformed into an awake state and we begin to be aware that the dreams are realities we have stepped into. We are living the very dreams we have dreamt of yesterday, and a new dream transforms our reality from moment to moment. With a blink of the eye we can be what we want to be, do the things we have stopped ourselves from doing by not being who we really are. We have only to let go into ourselves and become all that we truly are. To live in the bliss is to step into that state and embody it with our very breaths. We must move to the rhythm of this new vibration. We must make our bodies except this new place as home by playing in it and shaping it to its new frequency. Often people feel the bliss and sleep, enjoying its soothing nature and comfort, yet they never venture forth and move into it throwing away its sleepy cloak to find the river of energy that is close beneath the veil of satisfaction. They are lulled into a stupor that hugs the eyelids closed and never splash forward into this new river of energy that allows them to explore within themselves more than they have ever thought possible. It is the traveler who sees through the veil and pushes into the fog to come through to the other side to drink of the waters that are fresh and cold. The traveler seeks the journey and the dream that has yet to be dreamt. He/she knows there are no boundaries and another realty only lies beyond the next veil. We travel the dimensions on the wind of sound and can peek into our boundless realities through our dream states that can be manifested if we so desire. We can shape our life through sound vibration and truly live in the moment in peace and harmony with all around us.
